As a three-time champion on Showtime at the Apollo, Kareem is a multi-faceted entertainer and comedian whose talents include Stand-up, Improv, Acting, and Writing. Kareem’s relatable comedic style has earned him television appearances, currently on Showtime's new hit show Flatbush Misdemeanors, Kevin Hart LOL, TV One’s Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes, Comedy Central's Presents the Ruckus, AXE Gotham Live 2x, Fox 5 Good Day NY, HBO The Night of, HBO All DEF comedy.
His wit and perspective keep audiences in stitches throughout the U.S., Europe, and the Caribbean Islands about his experiences in foster care, dating, and having an extremely unsuccessful criminal career.
Belynda comes from a clinical social work background, having earned a BA in Psychology with a Theatre minor and a master’s degree in Social Work. She has spent over 25 years working as a counselor and mental health advocate with every population from pediatric to geriatric. Belynda infuses her sense of humor into all aspects of her work. She currently works as a consultant, speaker, instructor, group facilitator, and comedian.
Entertaining and making people laugh most of her life, Belynda is a multi-talented individual. Originally from a small, rural community in Canada, her comedy material is based on hilarious stories from her outrageous family, her unique childhood, her exciting role as a wife and mother, as well as her extraordinary understanding of life and human nature. Her comedic interpretation is based on an observation of people and life delivered in a lively, intellectual, and sidesplitting style.
Working continuously as an advocate for wellness of mind body and spirt Belynda is determined to enlighten and inspire the world through laughter, motivation and education.
Belynda performs comedy at corporate events, private parties, fundraisers, comedy clubs and colleges throughout Canada and the US. She also delivers keynotes and trainings for hospitals, universities, nonprofit organizations, correctional facilities, schools, mental health associations, conferences, women’s organizations, youth programs, and faith-based organizations in Canada and the US.
